female orgasmic disorder
Female orgasmic disorder is characterized by a markedly diminished intensity of orgasm, delay or absence of orgasm after normal arousal. This disorder does not appear to be age-related and is not a normal part of the aging process.
In the United States, it is reported that 25% of women 18-74 years of age report some form of orgasmic dysfunction. However, in two separate Nordic countries, studies indicated that 80% of women 18-74 years of age reported orgasmic dysfunction.
Uncontrolled or poorly controlled hypertension or high blood pressure is an additional risk factor associated with orgasmic disorders.
