ActiCuf™ for men, a new type of penile clamp for managing male incontinence

ActiCuf™ for men, a new type of penile clamp for managing male incontinence

by Diane K. Newman, RNC, MSN, CRNP, FAAN

The breakthrough ActiCuf™ Compression Pouch is a disposable, undetectable pouch designed to help men treat and manage light to moderate urinary incontinence. Unlike most penile clamps, ActiCuf™ can catch stray drips and help you feel safe and contained.

When placed on the penis, the padded closure gently presses down on the urethra to control urinary flow. Any leakage is immediately absorbed by the ActiCuf™, so you can take charge of your day and enjoy life on your terms...It's a new way of life.

The ActiCuf™ Compression Pouch is so discreet that it's virtually undetectable under clothing.

And its sleek, portable design makes using public urinals a worry-free experience. Removing and replacing it is fast and easy.

How to use

How to use Acticuf penile clamp

  1. Hold the ActiCuf with your thumb and forefinger.
  2. Squeeze the ActiCuf until the end is completely open and round in shape. Insert penis as far as possible into the opening of the device.
  3. Using public urinals is convenient again. Simply remove the ActiCuf by:
    • Squeeze the shaft of the penis to stop any urinary flow.
    • Remove the ActiCuf to urinate.
    • Replace the ActiCuf by repeating Steps 1-3 above.
  4. Although the ActiCuf is engineered for the greatest ease of use, it's not uncommon for accidents to occur. Keep an extra ActiCuf close at hand in case of sudden leaks until you learn to take it on and off like a pro.
