Incontinence at Night, Need a Alarm Clock?
My husband is handicapped due to a hip replacement/strokes over 2 years ago. Recently he's having trouble wetting the bed at night. Besides buying some special bed pads (which I have) I'm wondering in anyone might know of an alarm clock of sorts that you can set off to go off every 2 hours to remind him to get up and use the commode next to this bed? This is a 24/7 chore as it is and I'm just trying to find a way that I can at least rest at night without having to get up every 2 hours to wake him up and remind him to go to the bathroom. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

pelvic floor exercises
anyone in my position? I am a 50 year old who had a radical prostatectomy two months ago. I am totally incontinent - I have no bladder control at all, despite doing pelvic floor exercises. I am not sure I am doing them correctly. My doctor is hopeless. He just says: 'give it time" but, according to my reading, I should not have such total incontinence.

if you are not sure if you are doing kegeks properly' get a referral to a PT clinic that has experts in incontinence and the PTs will be able to assess you and train you!

been there,
i have had a similar experience. i had moderate leakage after i had my second boy. kegel's were suggested to me and for the longest time it didn't seem to be helping at all. it took almost a year but finally helped. i eventually just got into the habit of doing them when i was watching tv, standing in line, on the bus. i felt kinda weird at first at the grocery store, but i realized that no one could tell. when i started seeing results, i became a lot more motivated.
