Over the past couple of months I have been seeing a doctor about what they describe as 'urge incontinence' - that is I feel the need to go about the same time I realize that I _am_ urinating. This is really annoying. Then once the flow starts, it is impossible to stop. The docs gave me an external cath system to try, but those only leak at the worst possible moment..and I am very allergic to Latex. I am going in for tests for neurgenic bladder, which can define a lot of stuff. I'm only 45! So I use pads or briefs during the day, but what is best for at night?? 'Depends' seem to leak like a seive on me, but are there better reusable diapers or plastic pants on the market??

Answer
There are many external condom catheters and most are latex-free. I suggest you try one of the other ones. An external condom catheter (sometimes called a “sheath”) is used by men to collect urine leakage. This catheter fits over the penis and connects to a drainage bag that is strapped to your leg. The catheter has adhesive inside so that it sticks to the penis.
