My doctor has found that I have severe urethra spasms and has prescribed Flomax. Everything I have read says the medication is not indicated for women. Any information on women taking Flomax would be extremely helpful. Thanks

Answer
Flomax is often prescribed in women as it They relaxes the internal sphincter muscle at the base of the bladder which will allow your urine to flow out better. It can suddenly drop your blood pressure so we tell men and women to take it at night before going to bed. Other side effects include headache, dizziness, somnolence, diarrhea, fatigue, back pain
