I have been to the doctor's about 5 or 6 times and the hospital once. They ran urine test and pregnancy test and said that nothing was wrong with me. I have been having bladder problems for about 6 months now. At first it was urgency, frequency and spams. I went to a doctor and he gave me detrol la. It didn't work that well. Then I went to a different doctor and they put me on antidepressants. I have been having frequency and urgency on and off. It comes and goes. It is not as bad as the first time around but it is still aggravating. I had to quit school and a really great job because of it. I also been having anxiety problems and panic attacks because of it. One doctor that I went to said that my uterus was bigger than normal but he didn't say what that meant. It is so aggravating. I can't go out and have fun. Its hard to run errands and take my kid to school. I can't even work or finish school. Its embarrassing. The messed up thing about it is that I am only 24 years old. I have done alot of reading on OAB and IC. I am trying to figure out if I have one or the other or both or something totally different. I also have humanpapilomavirus and I don't know if that has something to do with it. I read that fibromyalsia might be a reason and that is what my mom has. We have been having the same problems. I am at my wits end. Maybe you have an idea of what's wrong or some advice on what I should do.

Answer
I am unsure of the cause of your urianry symptoms. Have you sen a urologist. As you ahve failed medication therapy, I suggest you try behavioral treatments. Look at the following URLs on my website: 1. Overactive Bladder: http://www.seekwellness.com/incontinence/overactive_bl adder.htm 2. OAB treatments: http://www.seekwellness.com/incontinence/oab_treatment s.htm 3. Behavioral treatments: http://www.seekwellness.com/incontinence/treatments4.h tm 4.
