My 12 year old son, only urinates about twice a day. I have encouraged him to drink water, but does not do so. How can I get him to use the bathroom more frequently?

It is abnormal for a boy your son's age to only urinate twice a day. The bladder will stretch and may lose its elasticity. Does your son not get the urge to urinate? Is he drinking adequate fluids? Have you spoken with your pediatrician about this?
