I am a 41y/o male who is otherwise healthy. My problem is that after urinating I leak a bit afterwards. My questions include, Is this noramal as one gets older? Are there any type of online assessments that i could take and show to my doctor at my next physical? It may sound silly but do I need to be 're-trained'? Any info or advice would be appreciated. Thank You.

Answer
This is called post-micturition voiding. Men have a long urethra (tube that is in the penis and carries urine from the bladder to the outside) that is shaped like an 'S'. Urine can get caught in the curves. We recommend that you push up behind your scrotum towards your bladder. This will push the urine out from the curves in your urethra.
