I am having problems with catheter cannot stop urinary leaka
I am having problems with catheter cannot stop urinary leakage from around stoma have tried smaller catheter larger and have varied ammount of saline in ballon all to no effect.i wear a leg bag all the time as penis is permanently blocked off due to operation gone wrong.i am very fussy about hygene and still get infections all the time. I have been in hospital about 20 times in last year. This is my third year trying to cope with situation i am getting nowhere. any suggestions would be helpfull regards noel

Answer
There are many possible solutions. You may want to try a suprapubic catheter? Or maybe another type of catheter material? An 100% silicone catheter may have less problems. Speak with your urologist.
