I have two children one is 8 and one is 5. My doctor had suggested after having my second child that i have my uterus taken out because it had dropped so far down. I have just found out that I am pregnant again for the 3rd time. I was wondering if with my uterus being dropped would it cause complications during this pregnancy or the birthing or not. This is something that really has me bothered so your help will be greatful.

Answer
Your doctor may suggest you wear a pessary - it may support your uterus during pregnancy. There are several different types. They are placed in the vagina - against the uterus.
