I've read that frequent urination and recurrent yeast infections can both be symptoms of diabetes. I have to urinate 3-8 times a night, and have yeast infections about every other month. I've also tested with low HDL and high triglycerides. As far as I know, there is no family history of diabetes, and I'm only 37 & not overweight. Should I get tested for diabetes?

Answer
Yes these can be symptoms of diabetes. You need to see your doctor and have him test you for diabetes and a urinary tract infection.
