The elderly woman I work for gets concipated and the care giver gives her laxatives then she gets diarra and tells us to give her applesauce .This makes no sense to me.Applesauce can give you diarra What do I do to help this poor 88 yr old woman to regulate her bowels?

I suggest you start her on a bowel regimen. I use a Special Recipe that is a mixture of 1 cup of unprocessed wheat bean, 1 cup of applesauce and 1/4 cup prune juice.
