Need your help
Hello! My husband had a gout attack around 1 year ago. The doctor said that he might get an attack again and told him to take some precautions on his eating habits. The doctor has forbidden him to consume alcohol, high-purine foods, such as meat, fish, dry beans (also lentils and peas), mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, cauliflower etc. My question is that is there still the possibility that he will have an attack again after one year? Some of my friends told me that yes it can happen. My husband is going on a business tour to Brazil next month. As the date for him to go is approaching I am getting worried about him. What if he gets an attack in a stranger city? Who will help him? I got the idea to look for all the hospitals in the Santa Catarina City and the vicinity so that he can phone if ever he falls in some problem but I am unable to find such info. I did come across a Brazil pharmacy directory; Brazil Pharmacy Directory where you can get the address and the phone number of the local pharmacies in Brazil grouped by cities but I have no information on the hospitals in Brazil. Can someone please tell me where I can get this info?
