There are several bad chemicals in make up, but none that I have heard of that are cancer causing. Some ingredients used in make up have been linked to cancer (such as talc), but the amount of use and proper skin care will be a deciding factor in any skin regime. Just remember to wash your face every morning and night (before you go to bed) and before applying new make up (like for changing your make up from day to night time looks). Make sure to throw out anything that is over a year old and never share make up. Also, be sure that you get new mascara about once a month, because you never want to mess up with something that surrounds your eyes.
