underwhelmed is on a distinguished road
low testosterone
I don't know if I'm clutching at straws with the low testosterone thing.

I'm 36, I've had anxiety since childhood and depression since I was 16. My body type is tall and skeleton like - I waited all through my teen years to develop any semblance of muscle mass but it never happened. I did manage to jump ten or so kilos when I started on anti-depressants at 29 - but its mostly fat around the waist. I'm still skinny. My upper body is virtually hairless. My facial hair was very slow to develop...even now its too patchy to consider growing a beard. I lack motivation and sleep a lot.

However in contradiction to all that: I don't think my testes were ever damaged or underdeveloped. I developed a medium to deep voice. I've never had any cancer. I had my pituitary tested about ten years ago and all the tests came back in the normal range.

It would seem that i have some of the symptoms of low testosterone but I cant seem to pinpoint any particular causes.

Does anyone think I should have a testosterone test? I don't want to build up any high hopes. I've done that in the past and it only leads to disappointment when it doesn't pan out
