Drinking Alcohol and HRT
Taking 200 mg. of injectable testosterone every other week. I drink beer on a regular basis. Is this safe - As I understand it the injectable form of testosterone is completely liver friendly as opposed to the oral variety. Thoughts?

It's probably safe but alcohol consumption, on the other hand, has been proven to have a strong negative impact on testosterone levels. Beer, which contains plant estrogens, is particularly toxic to the testes. I think you need to decide which you like better, drinking beer or having a normal testosterone level.

Unless you drink enough beer to damage liver cells, you probably won't make the liver worse with the testosterone. Gels and skin patches may be even less stressful to the liver than the injection.
