Change from injection to cream
I'm 57 and after 18-24 months of HRT using injections my Dr. is suggesting I switch to Androgel. When last tested without treatment T-level was 90-100. The shots work well taken monthly. This was the only treatment approved by my insurance co., and while maybe not "best" it has worked. The dosage is 600mL/month (3ml of 200 mg/ML concentration), and I've had some indications this is a pretty large dose. Complications are ED (heart related) corrected by Viagra or Cialis, and a missing testicle (congenital). Is there any reason to switch? What would be the benefits? From the comments I've read I may not get the same boost. Although my level may be more constant with daily gel treatment it seems from reading before and afters the elevation may be much less. Has anyone else made this change? What's the satisfaction level before and after? Appreciate any comments. Thanks!
