Ringing in Ears
I am finding it increasingly difficult dealing with a constant ringing in my ears. I am awaiting a doctor appt., but have been experiencing hot flashes, which is new since the rining began 2 months ago. I am wondering is ringing in ears can be another side effect of andropause (i have all the other symptoms of andro)..i also have T2 diabetes, sleep apnea and arthritis, and have been on aspirin and other painkillers for 7 years, and I know the riningin can also be side effect of medications...please help...

Ringing in Ears
Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) is not generally considered a symptom of andropause. Here is some information about it and its causes (loud noises, ear wax, medications, etc.):
http://www.ata.org/about_tinnitus/consumer/faq.html
Talk with your doctor about your medications -- especially aspirin, which is known to produce ringing in the ears.

Good luck.
