Yes, a decrease in body hair may be caused by low testosterone. Take a look at our information about other changes that may occur:

http://www.seekwellness.com/andropause/testosterone.htm#agechanges
I've been recently diagnosed with a low testosterone level. I'm 51. I have a full head of hair, though my legs, chest, and underarms are totally hairless, and my arms are getting there. My thyroid checked out ok. Is the low testosterone level causing the lack of hair?
Thanks!
