Effects of Testim

I have gained 8 pounds as I enter my third month of using Testim, 30 days @ 50mg per day and 40 days @ 100mg per day. Nearly all of this is muscle as my waist size has not increased (and pants are not getting tight). I have been working out at a YMCA for the past year. The amount of weight I use for each exercise increased by 20%-40% during the second month that I was using Testim. There is a noticeable difference in my muscle size using the mirror test. The astonishing thing is for the past six months before using Testim, I had reached a plateau in weight training, and the plateau was at very low levels...a most frustrating result after giving it my all every week. I fully expect the rapid muscle gains to taper off, although I would prefer it not to of course. Next week I get the results of a complete battery of blood tests from an Endocrinologist .... hopefully these will be all positive. The only benefit not realized thus far using Testim, is a net gain in wealth.

I was on 5g of testim for two weeks with out knowing that there was an alternative called androgel. I found Testim to be very sticky and also to have an offensive smell. I finally told my doctor that I could not take it and that I wanted to go back to the shot. That is when he told me about androgel. Androgel has no scent and drys very quick because it has an alchohol base. I have now been on this therapy for 3 months and feel wonderful.With androgel available I don't know why anyone would choose Testim <br> <br> PS. last month when I got my prescrption refilled, the pharmacy asked if I would like it in the pump. I did and now the process is that much easier.
