after prostate surgery

My father recently had his prostate removed due to cancer. He has been feeling lethargic and sleeps all the time, and I thought maybe this has something to do with lowered testosterone? Is this normal for men after prostate surgery, or should he go back to see his doctor about this?<br>

My brother had a similar experience with his prostate removal, he felt run down for a few months but eventually he started to feel better without drugs or therapy. Not to imply that your father shouldn't see a doctor.

<BR>You do not say how long ago your father had surgery but it can take a full three months or more to feel completely back to normal. If your father feels tired and rundown and it's been longer than 3 or 4 months, he should discuss his symptoms with the doctor.
