Testosterone Replacement
There is a variety of treatment types, including pills, injections, patches and gels and each type has its pros and cons. We'll be publishing information about all of these in some detail in the coming months. Why don't you sign up for our mailing list so we can send you a notice when this material is posted in the andropause center.<br> In the meantime, you should talk with your doctor -- first about whether testosterone might help your symptoms and second, which type of therapy is best for you.

Testosterone levels?
I am a little confused about Testosterone levels measured in blood. Reading some of the posts here first had me worried, but there must be more than one method of measurement. At 51 I have suffered every symptom associated with low testosterone levels. My testosterone has been measured 3 times at 7.3, 10.3 and 8.5, all taken at 0830hrs. My specialist says these are low and low normal, but isnt concerned as he says testosterone fluctuates. Are these readings low, and should I be considering replacement therapy. I am concerned about what I read in relation to Prostrate cancer and Testosterone. I have suffered now for 8 years, and its very very slowly getting worse.
