Androgel (5g daily) actually made me calmer but with more energy. My guess is you are correct that your irritability is coming from too high a dose. I don't have experience with high level androgen intake so I can't say from experience but it sounds like you've got it right, going from what I've heard on some of the bodybuilding forums. I was only on the Androgel for about a month and would have kept using it except that it caused suppression about the third week and made my T levels go down from 469 to 315, something my doctor (Dr.Harvey Kryger) assured me would not happen. I was not looking for a total replacement, only a "boost". Adding testosterone causes suppression. Don't believe anybody that says otherwise, even your doctor...<br> Sorry, didn't mean to get off on a tangent.
