I am a 44 year old male. I received testosterone injections for 8 years before switching to Androgel (I really disliked going to the physician's office every 3 weeks for an injection). I've been using Androgel for 6 months now. While my physician would like to increase my daily dose to satisfy a lab test, I find that higher doses causes me to be more irritable. I've experimented around with the dose and have had my theory reinforced. I recently spoke to another Androgel user and he reported the same conclusion. There's nothing in the literature to confirm this. Has anybody else noticed an increase in irritability with higher doses?
