Try to find a Urogynecologist in your area. IC and vulvadynia, as well as dysparenuia (painful penetration) can all exist together. A simple potassium test can verify IC. Dietary modification can also help. (if it is IC). Scar tissue adhesions may also be playing a role in your symptoms. You may also have pelvic floor muscle dysfunction (possibly overactive) can cause the pain. A women's health PT could also help. First, you need to find an MD who will look into all of your symptoms. Write everything down and provide as much info as you can. Include frequency/urgency of urination as well as any rectal pain or difficulty. Good luck.
