I need help!!
I am 32 years old. When I was 28 I had a cystocel, rectocel and hysterectomy. I have always had an irritable bladder. Since I had the surgery it has been in a downward spiral. I go to my doctor constantly with "UTI" symptoms. She told me she thinks I have Interstitial Cystitis, but I have not been able to get to a urologist. When I looked online I found this thing called Vulvodynia. It seems to match my symptoms better. I seem to get the painful urination (feels like a hot prod being inserted into my urinary tract) after intercourse. The only thing that relieves the pain is AZO tabs (OTC Pyrydium). I can't take it anymore. When I do have intercourse the feeling is unbelievable since the surgery, but I regret it for days, sometimes weeks, afterwards. My questions: Does anyone have any advice? Does it sound like it might be the vulvodynia instead of IC? Does anyone have a recommendation with the Cysta-Q? PLEASE help me. I feel like I am 100 years old. By the way, not sure if it matters or not, but I also found out yesterday that I have gallbladder disease, and it has to come out next week. Could that have caused any of this?
