my family has just been told that my granddaughter has got spina bifida and has bladder problems, we asked what they are and was told that she would not urinate completely. I asked what would we have to do and was told that we would have to press on her abdomen to empty her bladder, he showed us how to do and he was able to empty her bladder completed. We left the hospital and realized that she would need her bladder emptying again, so i started to express her but she didn't like it, we then all tried with no success, what can we do because we know it has to be done.
