frequently asked questions about ElderCarelink

frequently asked questions about ElderCarelink

Am I obligated to buy anything?

No. Completing a Needs Assessment puts you under no obligation to purchase anything. The decision is entirely up to you as to whether you choose to engage any of the network service or product providers who respond to your request.

How are ElderCarelink's providers screened?

fishermanEach eldercare provider specialty has its own standards of certification within its particular industry. ElderCarelink requires all participating providers to represent to ElderCarelink that they are legally authorized to provide the services and/or products that they are selling to consumers. Further, each provider is at all times required to meet ElderCarelink's Provider Participation Standards and abide by ElderCarelink's Terms of Use. If ElderCarelink learns that a Provider has failed to continue to meet or abide by ElderCarelink's Provider Participation Standards or Terms of Use, the Provider will be disqualified from continued participation in the ElderCarelink program.

What if there are no participating providers who meet my needs in my geographic area?

If there are no providers in the ElderCarelink network that meet your requirements, ElderCarelink will promptly notify you. You will then have the option of either keeping your information in ElderCarelink's secure database or instructing them to permanently remove your information from their database. If you opt to have them maintain your information, they will notify you in the event that they expand the network at a later date to include providers that are right for your needs.

What if we're not satisfied with the service we receive from the provider?

All participating providers are independent and not owned or controlled by ElderCarelink. As such, customer satisfaction issues must be addressed with the individual provider or company to ensure you receive the appropriate level of attention and resolution to your issue. ElderCarelink requires that participating providers have a published policy regarding customer dispute resolution. If you are unsatisfied with the response from one of our participating providers, let ElderCarelink know. If a provider demonstrates a pattern of unresolved customer satisfaction problems, they can be terminated from participating in the ElderCarelink program.

If I don't pay for this service, who does?

ElderCarelink receives its fees from participating providers, allowing them to provide you with a high-quality matching service that is available at no cost to you.
