Nearly one in three Americans will be affected by cancer in his lifetime. The good news is that it doesn't have to be you. In the Cancer Control Center, Dr. Donna Douglas shows you simple steps to slashing your risk. You will also find information and resources that will empower you to live well even after a cancer diagnosis.
The Cancer Control Center is organized into three sections:
- Prevention
- Innovative/Integrative Treatments
- Survival

I had my mestactomy on right breast 2 years ago.  You are very fortunate that you were treated at such
an early stage. Such early intervention increases the
likelihood that the tumor has not spread and was fully
removed. If this is the case, no further treatment
for cancer would be necessary.
