The Wick-er Warmup towels are made with a special style of high tech stretch fabric (the best wicking fabric available). It kills bacteria because it contains Silver in the fiber. Silver is one of the best known antimicrobials known...and it's natural! Many hospitals are using Silver in bandaging for this very reason. The silver in our towels does not wash out, unlike other chemical antibacterial treatments. Our Wick-er Warmup towels machine wash beautifully! They can also be machine dried, or hung to dry. This anti-microbial technology is Permanent, it doesn't wash out!
When the moisture reaches the outside of the fabric, it spreads out to many times its original surface area, enabling it to evaporate very quickly.
